The Lawyer’s Conclave Series

A series of Webinars conducted by Indore Institute of Law hosting experts from the legal fraternity enlightening the attendees with essential skills and knowledge pertaining to significant aspects of the legal profession. The Institute has been obliged by the meaningful and strong association with some of the veteran names of the legal profession and the series of webinars were to benefit the students from the same.

The Guiding Lamp Series

Alumni Interaction Series for the students of Indore Institute of Law and Alumni of the Institute, the series aimed at forming a bridge for the glorious history of the Institute with the hopeful future ahead. The interaction series was aimed at fostering beneficial and meaningful interactions and particularly aimed at providing the students practical and ground level understanding of the various career opportunities available to them.

Smt. Nirmala Devi Bam Memorial International Moot Court Competition

Initiated in the year 2019, the Institute took forward the legacy of its International Moot Court Competition, this year, associated Hammurabi & Solomon as the Support Partner for the Commercial Laws Moot Court Competition, the area of law focused on this year was Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. The competition was conducted successfully over the virtual platform and witnessed an overwhelming participation of 45 teams from all over the country.

International Conference on the Opportunities & Threats Post COVID – 19

The first edition of the International Conference was initiated in the year 2019, the first conference was conducted on the theme of Multidimensional Facets of Dispute Resolution. The Institute conducted the 2nd edition of the conference on the theme of “Opportunities and Threats Post Covid -19” and witnessed registration from 100+ participants. Over the period of 2 days of intensive panel discussion, wherein the panels were coordinated by expert members from multidisciplinary fields like aviation, medical, economy and legal.

X Intra Batch Moot Court Competition

Despite of the prevailing lockdown and pandemic, the Institute ensured consistent learning and training of the students by conducting the 10th Grand Intra Batch Moot Court Competition. More than 50 teams registered for the Intra Batch Moot Court Competition.

Workshop on Research Methodology –

Workshop on the Concept, Importance and Technique for developing a Research Methodology for Legal Research or Management Studies was given to the students. The significance of Research in academic learning was reiterated by the expert instructor for the workshop.

Memorial Drafting Workshop –

The workshop was conducted by Memo Pundits, an exclusive associated venture with Indore Institute of Law working specifically for training the students in the skills required for Moot Court Competitions and the 1st workshop for the same was conducted on the tricks and techniques for drafting a memorial for moot court competition.

The Master Draftsman 2020 – International Negotiation & Drafting Competition

First of its kind competition being conducted by Indore Institute of Law, the competition is a culmination of two significantly essential skills of a lawyer – Negotiation & Drafting, the participants will be negotiating terms of a commercial agreement and based on the agreed terms will be drafting a legally acceptable contract in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Contracts Act and other relevant laws.

The Knowledge Series

The Knowledge Series was initiated with the objective of providing core subject knowledge to the students in essential areas of law like the CrPC, CPC, IPC, Evidence Law etc. The Institute coordinated with experienced and expert practicing lawyers to provide expert subject sessions for a week on one specific area of law so as to provide students a practical front opportunity of understanding these core areas of law.
